I have been fascinated by large construction projects since I was a young boy. Having devoted my college studies toward architecture and the building sciences I later learned to understand what I observe, which only heightened my fascination.
Today I am most intrigued by the transient scenes of beauty, incongruity, humor, and incidental design that large construction projects so often present to the keen eye. These are scenes that will never again appear and often last for just a few moments. But the beauty of such scenes can be breathtaking and made even more extraordinary with the knowledge that it's all purely incidental.
This is an ongoing collection of such images I've captured over several years.
